Not impressed

Fabulous food and great ambience!

Very good food, but service was very poor. They have a very high opinion of themselves, so if you make comments, then they just get defensive and tell you why you are not right.

In a word Perfection! Amazing food, we had rack of venison (a nightly feature) and a refreshing ceviche to start with. Service was impeccable, our young lady knew the menu very well and spoke about food in such an appetizing way we ordered the venison because of it. All food was presented beautifully on very hot plates (for hot food) and chilled plates (for cold food). We tried some wine we had never had before, recommended and enjoyed! This restaurant is lovely at night, all candle lit and contemporary yet still cozy. It is a small place, so they recommend reservations, but we didn't have one and still had a great table and perfect experience.

This is easily The best restaurant in Brantford. I had the most perfectly prepared steak with blue cheese and bacon potato croquettes and a fantastic sauce. My wife had the tuna witch again was perfect. With a bottle of wine and two cocktails our bill was only $110. P.s. we had a wonder full appetizer of shrimp and shiitake spring rolls. Everything was hot, deliscious and served in a professional way. the wine list is killer too. They have everything from cheap to very expensive. Highly reccomended and can't wait to return. Food was okay, the service was terrible. This restaurant doesn't seem to be run very well. The confusion of the staff left me feeling ill at ease rather than like I'd spent a fairly significant sum of money to be relaxed and comfortable.

The atmosphere is pleasant but the seating was crowded and there was a cold draught. Some of the appetizers were luke warm, the vegetables were uninteresting, the flatware unusual but awkward, the steak was fatty, the chicken bland and the service was ordinary at best. The bill (with compulsory 18% service charge) was $ 70 per person which, considering no cocktails were ordered and only half of the group had one glass of wine,is grossly over-priced. We were disappointed and would not recommend it to others

The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the food and it's preparation. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.
